SAFELY & ON TIME – CASE STUDY (TRAID FAIRS)

It’s Friday, 3 pm.

The phone is ringing. A customer’s truck has broken down and now he asks you to collect his products from a Munich trade fair.

The fair ends at 5 pm.

No time to hesitate, let’s get to it!

We have a car nearby, it is big enough, we can take the products.

You call the customer. 15 minutes later, everything is set – the car is to be ready at 5 pm.

We will organize any

transport in 45 minutes

or less

Our employee will quickly prepare a specific offer, and after its acceptance, they will personally ensure that nothing will prevent the delivery at the agreed time.

Unexpected orders do not surprise us because we are well-prepared.

But then obstacles appear:

  • it’s Friday, people are going back from work, the traffic is terrible,
  • the fair has ended; the participants are leaving, the exhibitors are closing their stalls, you can’t find anyone, the place is complete chaos.

The driver circles for an hour looking for a parking spot, and the fact that he is driving a tractor with
a semitrailer does not make the situation any easier. He fails to find a spot and eventually has to park far from the loading place.

Friday, 6 pm.

The customer is in Poland.

The forwarder is at home.

The shipper is in the middle of the market hall.

The driver’s location is unclear. The area is huge, there are lots of trucks around, and the street name alone is of no use.

Let us add the language barrier (the shipper does not speak English and the driver does not speak German), and the scenario begins to look rather pessimistic.

We do not give up.

The forwarder has theoretically finished work for today, yet he is still on the phone.

How do you explain to the shipper the location of the car?

We will organize any

Unexpected orders do not surprise us because we are well-prepared.

The driver comes up with the idea to send a picture of his truck and of what he sees from the inside of it.

Thanks to the photos, the shipper finds the driver.

Friday, 8 pm.

The goods have been loaded into the truck.

The customer can rest easy?
